In a monologue, Lulu Obermayer celebrates the radical artistic practice of Broadway dancer, choreographer and painter Marta Becket, who opened an opera house in the middle of the Californian desert in 1967. Lulu Obermayer tells a story of ghosts, time and devotion and of the (im)possibility of an artistic life. A mirage arises in which theater, dreams and fate become blurred.

Nachtstück N°5 is an 11-hour meditative ritual featuring elements of object theatre, an endless concert, and an art installation.
