rodeo says thank you!

For nine days, we came together to watch, discuss, experiment and explore new perspectives. Under the motto “Holding Ground”, the artists of rodeo Festival 2026 showed just how diverse, distinctive and vibrant Munich’s independent dance, theatre and performance scene is. They explored relationships between humans and the more-than-human, raised questions about belonging and ownership, and created spaces for new encounters.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us, shared their thoughts, and engaged in conversations and experiences with us. A big thank you to the artists, our audiences, venues, partners and everyone who helped make this festival happen.

Together, we keep spaces open for different perspectives, new connections and an independent arts scene that this city needs.

See you at the next rrrrrrodeo!
