rrrrrodeo has been the platform for the independent performing arts in Munich since 2010. The biennial festival provides insights into the diversity of Munich's dance and theater scene, serves the exchange and networking of local and international artists, sets new artistic impulses and discusses current cultural-political topics. Over the years, rodeo has become a focal point for local, national and international actors from the independent scene.

- were created in the years 2024 and 2025
- are aesthetically consistent
- pursue idiosyncratic forms of narration and representation
- work on issues of social diversity
- reach new audiences
Productions that use artistic strategies to break down (reception) barriers are especially desired.

Artists and groups who have a work focus and/or base (production and performances) in Munich. The Open Call is open to applications from all areas of the independent performing arts.
You will hear from us latest in March 2026 if your project got involved or not.
Please block the entire period from 09.-18.10.2026 for a presentation in Munich until March 2026.
